Support in the challenges you may encounter

2148869353

Highlands understands that a cancer diagnosis can be distressing in a variety of ways. The Spiritual Care Team is available to provide emotional and spiritual care for you and your family. We are here to support you in the challenges you may encounter.

We offer you time and space to work through some questions you may be asking:

  • Where will I find the strength and energy I need right now?
  • How is my life going to change?
  • How will this affect my family?
  • Why is this happening to me?
  • What dreams and hopes keep me going?
  • What new life goals would I like to set?
  • How is cancer affecting my spiritual and emotional health?
  • What brings me peace right now?
  • Are other resources available to me?

Highlands Spiritual Care Team offers a supportive environment for all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to explore your questions. We are in the clinic when you are.

You do not have to walk this journey alone!

We are only an email or phone call away.

To reach us, please email chaplain@hogonc.com or call (479) 334-2263.

May the Lord bless you, and keep you; May the Lord make his face shine on you, and be gracious to you; May the Lord turn his face toward you, and give you peace (Nu 6:24-26).

The Highlands Spiritual Care Team and John Brown University Bible Ministry are partnering to make a difference in our community and in our world.

In partnership with John Brown University, the students in the ‘Ministry to Families’ class were able to fulfill their service-learning hours as Highlands Oncology Spiritual Care interns. The students provided a compassionate presence to patients and caregivers – listening, having conversations, offering comfort and encouragement. Highlands is pleased to partner with JBU as we seek to make a difference in our community and our world.
