Dr. Ewa Matczak is an oncology researcher and physician with extensive experience in oncology research, clinical care, and academic medicine. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York and completed advanced fellowship training at Columbia University before continuing her academic and clinical research work at Harvard University.

Throughout her career, Dr. Matczak has served in leadership, research, and clinical roles at Columbia University, Harvard University, and the National Cancer Institute, where she contributed to the development and evaluation of novel cancer therapies and clinical research programs. She joined Highlands in 2026 as a Research Physician, bringing decades of experience in clinical investigation and translational oncology. Dr. Matczak has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is passionate about connecting patients with innovative treatment opportunities through clinical research.
