Dr. Foster Lasley joined Highlands Oncology in 2023 after a distinguished decade-long career at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City and as a solo practitioner for GenesisCare.

In 2005, Dr. Lasley completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from Oral Roberts University and earned his MD from The University of Oklahoma in 2009, being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.  He then went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at OU Tulsa in 2010 and his 4 year Radiation Oncology residency at Indiana University in 2014.  While there, he participated in, published, and assisted in the design of research in the fields of liver cancer, SBRT, and proton therapy.

Upon graduation from Residency, he held a Board Certified position with the Mercy Radiation Oncology Department in Oklahoma City, covering additional sites in Ada and Ardmore, OK as well as the Heart Hospital of OKC.  During this time, Dr. Lasley co-authored the book “Basic Radiotherapy Physics and Biology”, with the first edition published in 2014 and the second edition later published in 2021.

In 2018, the Lasleys moved to Northwest Arkansas, where he worked for Landmark Cancer Center, acquired by Genesis Care. While working at GenesisCare, he served on the US Executive Medical Committee and chaired the Clinical Medicine Committee for the central division of the USA.  In 2022, he was a co-author on the ASTRO Clinical Practice Guideline for primary liver cancers. Dr. Lasley also recently accepted roles on the Payor Relations (PRC) and Code Utilization Application (CUAC) Committees with ASTRO, the American Society for Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Lasley has been married to his wife, Claire, for nearly 15 years.  They share two children and a menagerie of pets.  In his spare time, Foster enjoys cooking, carpentry, hiking, and supporting hospital and cancer-related philanthropic efforts throughout NWA.
