Jeff Hunnicutt

Jeff Hunnicutt is the Chief Executive Officer of Highlands Oncology, where he leads one of Arkansas’s premier cancer treatment organizations with vision, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. Since stepping into the role in 2018 as the group’s first CEO, Jeff has brought more than a decade of experience in oncology operations, technology, and value-based care to the organization, guiding it through a period of growth and transformation.

Before joining Highlands Oncology, Jeff served as Chief Operations Officer at Northwest Medical Specialties in Washington state, where he honed his expertise in integrating technology, data analytics, and clinical operations to improve outcomes. His career has been marked by a passion for advancing value-based care models in oncology. He has been an active voice in national conversations on payment reform, quality initiatives, and risk-based care, contributing through leadership roles with the Community Oncology Alliance, the Quality Cancer Care Alliance, and Catholic Health Initiatives.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Highlands Oncology has continued to expand its reach while maintaining a strong focus on delivering advanced treatment options and exceptional care close to home. Colleagues and partners recognize him for his ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation—qualities that have strengthened the organization’s position as a leader in oncology services.

Beyond his professional work, Jeff is deeply invested in his community and the broader world. He and his family support education initiatives in Senegal and advocate for foster care awareness in Arkansas, reflecting his belief that leadership extends beyond the boardroom. Based in Bentonville with his wife and four children, Jeff brings a personal warmth and dedication to everything he does, balancing strategic vision with a genuine commitment to improving lives.
