Dr. Oakhill

Dr. Oakhill joined the physicians of Highlands Oncology in July 2000 following the completion of his internship, residency, and fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certifications in Medical Oncology and Hematology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Shortly after joining Highlands, Dr. Oakhill partnered with Dr. Daniel Bradford and several regional specialists in the development of the Center for Chest Care of Northwest Arkansas — an innovative multidisciplinary program focused on the treatment of thoracic malignancies and advanced clinical research. Dr. Oakhill played an integral leadership role in helping build and expand the program as it evolved into one of the region’s premier collaborative approaches to lung and chest cancer care.

In 2005, Dr. Oakhill was instrumental in establishing the first retail pharmacy located within a medical clinic in the State of Arkansas. This forward-thinking initiative significantly enhanced patient access to specialized oncology pharmacy services and represented an important advancement in comprehensive cancer care delivery at Highlands Oncology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Oakhill has maintained a strong clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of hematologic and oncologic conditions. He is recognized for his longstanding commitment to patient-centered care, innovation, and the continued advancement of oncology services in Northwest Arkansas.
