Our speech therapists work as part of the Highlands team to improve the side effects of your cancer and treatment. Oncology rehabilitation is beneficial from diagnosis, throughout your treatment, and into survivorship.

Speech therapy can help with:

• Swallowing rehabilitation
• Speech/voice rehabilitation
• Lymphedema or swelling
• Cognition – memory, cognitive fatigue, etc.
• Supporting nutrition and hydration
• Laryngectomy care
• Tracheostomy care
