Physical Therapy for your pelvic floor is designed to train the muscles within your pelvis including the core muscles of your trunk to promote restoration of bowel and bladder health.

Highlands’ pelvic floor therapy program can treat a wide array of dysfunctions and is not limited to oncology patients. Common problems treated include:

Gina received her B.A. in Biology from the University of North Texas in 1994, B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of Texas Southwestern Allied Health Professions in 1997, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, Missoula in 2016. Gina achieved her Certification of Achievement in Pelvic Health with specialization in Pelvic Disorders by the American Physical Therapy Association. She has taken numerous continuing education classes with Herman and Wallace. She is currently working toward her certification in biofeedback of the pelvic floor with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.
