Mission Statement
The purpose of the Arkansas Breast Cancer Specialists (ABCS) is to promote excellence in the community in breast cancer detection and treatment, and to examine and address the evolving needs of breast cancer patients and survivors in Northwest Arkansas.
History:
ABCS physicians all practice in independent groups but have functioned well as a team for decades, providing quality, integrated and coordinated care for our patients. Since we work together well as a “breast center without walls,” our group decided in 2015 to pursue accreditation of our breast care program by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The ABCS achieved full accreditation from the NAPBC in November 2016, and were re-accredited in 2019 and 2023. As an NAPBC accredited breast center, we STRIVE to elevate the standard of care in the region and throughout the state, distinguishing ourselves as the leaders in the field.
