Highlands Oncology, With Locations in Rogers and Fayetteville, Opens New Location in Fayetteville
Highlands Oncology, Northwest Arkansas’ leading cancer treatment group, recently opened a new location in Fayetteville. The cancer treatment and research group has experienced sustained growth, adding approximately 100 new positions, including five physicians, in the past three years. There are now three locations in Fayetteville and one location in Rogers where patient services are provided. In addition, Highlands has 3 additional offices where administration and business staff are housed.
Within the past 3 years, Highlands Oncology has grown exponentially, adding palliative care services and several physicians including: Dr. Brooke Brander, Dr. Hollis Rogers, Dr. Sarah Jewell, Dr. Chris McClinton and Dr. Juan Lombeida. Palliative care is focused medical care which aims to provide relief from the symptoms and stress of serious illnesses.
The new office, located at 3352 N. Futrall Drive, houses the services of Dr. Rogers and Dr. Joseph Ivy.
Dr. Ivy is a gynecologic oncologist who has worked with Highlands Oncology since 2013. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, effective care for female cancer patients and their families. He utilizes minimally invasive strategies and implements the da Vinci® Surgical System, a form of advanced robotic technology, for more precise and safer procedures.
Dr. Rogers is a colon and rectal surgeon and joined Highlands Oncology in 2015. He is committed to providing excellence in patient care and offers specialized procedures including da Vinci Surgical System® colectomies and Medtronic Bowel Control Therapy.
